anyway i've had a lot of really difficult family/life stuff happen recently, so: let me get my fandom ducks in a row a little to feel kind of normaller than stuff's been in the last month...

holmestice! i love doing this exchange, i'm always pleasantly surprised by what i get-- i just hope i can get hyped up for non-dgs holmes bc as usual that's where my head is lol. i'm sad i couldn't get to 221bcon for the holmestice meetup (what with family stuff :(() but i'm relieved to hear it wasn't the last con after all. see yall in 2026 for sure.
speaking of dgs i am one of the mods for Homumiko Week and howwwww legit do i feel posting that ad to a DW comm LMAO. it's been fun organizing, i blow kisses to my comods & the artists who've stepped up to help promote. now i have to brainstorm some piece ideas because, as a mod, i think it would be nice for me to have at least one thing that's a longer oneshot as opposed to just drabbles. i have longer stuff in the chamber but uuuuuuh it's been a time for me so who knows if im capable of that rn. i'm gonna do my best.
i'm also hosting a week for fic_promptly next week and everybody be so niceys to me and participate. this comm's been soooo good for ideas i can use for farting out little drabbles. i havent had the brainpower nor the gumption to work on bigger projects lately so having a more manageable option is really nice.
i might be applying to a dgs fanzine or two (scared) and i applied to an acd holmes one already (SCAREDER) idk im really trying to make this my fanfics era v_v
im hoping i can switch things up media-wise from just movies/books by starting to pick up some games again. I had a super fun time with the Conclave VN Delectation Morosa and i was holding off on Beekeeper's Picnic until i had time to REALLY appreciate it, and soon i will!!! since it's super short i hope i can beat it fast and then get back to AA:I / the other billion games i said i'd play lmfao, i just need to get a #gamer momentum up. there's also the new AITSF coming out which, in spite of myself, i will probably still buy because i learned it wasnt switch 2 exclusive. what can i say i love puzzle.

i'm running a holmes drabble challenge over at 221bdrabbles using the same format i did for the ghm drabble challenge in heinouscrimesunit. i love little drop in challenges like these, and yea yea i do love to overcommit myself but also i've got a big prompt list and it can go indefinitely as long as people participate. :) i also have fun using these to squeeze out some writing juice when i'm stuck on other stuff!
i am also doing holmestice again and excited to write (redacted) (expunged) (censored). there is something very fun about getting to write the nichest shit for people, i love to Give Gift. i have no idea what to expect for mine but i'm excited......
the rp im in is winding down which is good because i feel really bad not working on all these fic drafts i have. 8') i know i am the only one who expects these but also, how dare my brain not be able to spit out everything im thinking of perfectly out onto the page!!! im particularly Thinking about the dgs longfic because i have so many little ocs and headcanons i cannot wait to bust out, but a friend of mine is replaying ai: the somnium files/playing ai:nirvana for the first time so i may collab with them / get back to my aitsf drafts. bossdate warriors. i KNOW there's more than like 5 of us out there.
i'm doing another dnd campaign finally, unfortunately i have to learn how to draw furries because i'm playing a catgirl vampire.
i need to 100% slay the princess. i NEED to. i have my criticisms for its overarching narrative (please explain 60% less, i love to go off Vibes Only!!!) but i'm really compelled by its routes & mini-arcs and how to get to them.
